Phase One

Phase One refers to a pupil who may be absent for a short period of time. This may be for as little as one day, whilst awaiting a test result.

In this instance, your child should log onto Google to access their school account. Instructions on how to do this can be seen in this short video:

Your child should ensure they check their emails on a daily basis. In addition, your child should log onto Google Classroom once they have signed in with their school email address and password. Pupils should ensure they have signed into all Google classes as requested by their class teachers by Friday 18 September.

For this short period pupils are off, they should read and memorise the knowledge organiser available on Google classroom for each of their subjects. They should also complete any outstanding homework set on Google classroom. Pupils may also refer to any additional resources that are uploaded onto each of their subject classes. This may include links to the Oak National Academy or sets of flashcards to revise from on Quizlet for example.
