Preparing pupils for life in modern Britain

PSHE - Personal, social, health and economic education at Bartley Green aims to prepare pupils for life in modern Britain. Our PSHE curriculum follows three main themes; my place in the wider world, me and my health and me and my relationships with others.

Through these themes the PSHE curriculum aims to encourage our pupils to explore their position as a valued member of society. We want pupils at Bartley Green School to understand how PSHE promotes the importance of positive relationships, a healthy lifestyle and diversity.

Our age-appropriate curriculum ensures that pupils’ knowledge and understanding builds as they mature. Our curriculum is broad and balanced; it considers local social and health needs whilst also reinforcing our core values.
